Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be provided for cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the scheduled check-in date
Check-In Time: Anytime after 2:00 PM. Exceptions may be considered on request
Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM. Exceptions may be considered on request
Quiet Hours: 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM. Music must be off (or at a reasonable level) between the hours of 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM
Gates are to remain closed and latched at all times.
Please do not climb on trees, attach ropes or fasten anything into them
Exploration: Guests are welcome to explore the river and scenic trails located approximately 100 yards east of the glamping site
RVs are not permitted. Exceptions for family reunions may be considered with prior approval.
Pets are not permitted on the property.
Large gatherings or special events must be booked separately and in advance.
Illegal substances and drunken or disorderly conduct will not be tolerated and will result in automatic eviction

Speed Limit: 10 km/h
Parking - A maximum of three vehicles is allowed per booking
Driving and parking on the property is allowed only in designated areas
Vehicles are only permitted from the entrance gate to the designated glamping site

Guests are responsible for maintaining a clean site and are expected to clean up after themselves.
Please use the appropriate garbage and recycling containers and do not leave any garbage at your site or in your firepit
A cleaning fee may apply if accommodations are left in an excessively unclean condition.

All outdoor furniture must remain in its designated location. Chairs may be moved for use around the fireplace only. No furniture may be removed from the site or taken to the river.
River Events & Rentals reserves the right to request any guest not adhering to these rules to vacate the property. Registered guests will be held responsible for any damage caused during their stay and may be charged for repairs or replacements.

This is a family-owned property and children are at play throughout the property
Please make your children aware of the rules. Most of the rules are designed to protect them.
Please drive with extreme care, especially when backing up.
Parents/guardians are responsible for the behaviour of children and teens at all times.
Children must be under adult supervision at all times and are expected to respect all buildings, structures, and the natural environment.

The maximum number of registered guests is six (6).
The maximum number of day-time visitors is four (4).
Visitors are all persons not registered.
You are our guest and if you have visitors, you are responsible for their behaviour. If your visitor is breaking the rules, the entire booking will be canceled and you will be evicted. There are no refunds if you are evicted.
Day-time visitors:
- Visitors’ vehicles are not permitted on the property. Walk-ins only. See site plan
- All visitors must be approved in advance. Additional vehicles must be parked off-site on the road, and visitors must walk in.
- Visitors are asked to leave by 10:00 PM
Overnight visitors:
- must register during office hours and pay the extra per-person charge in advance of the overnight stay

It is your responsibility to follow all local fire bans, without exception. During bans, propane fire pits are available.

Fires are permitted only in designated fire pits, which must not be moved. Firewood is available on site.
Campfires must be out by 11:00 PM.
Fireworks are strictly prohibited.

No smoking or vaping is allowed inside any buildings or tipis. Cigarette butts must not be disposed of in fire pits. A $250 cleaning fee will be charged for butts left on the ground.

No outside structures (e.g., tents, gazebos) are permitted in or near the tipi/s.

All tipi, covered wagon and little red barn furniture and accessories must remain indoors and in their original placement.

River Events and Rentals is located on privately owned family property, just 0.5 km from Cottontail Corner. While we respect all lifestyles and communities, clothing is mandatory at all times on the glamping site, surrounding property and trails. This is a family-friendly environment shared by guests of all ages, and we ask all visitors to dress appropriately out of respect for others and the values of the property owners.

Our glamping site is located near the river and adjacent beach, which are part of Crown land and not monitored or maintained by River Events and Rentals. Guests choosing to access the river or beach do so at their own risk. We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or incidents that may occur on or near the water. The river can present strong currents, uneven footing, and sudden drop-offs. It is your responsibility to understand the potential dangers and supervise children closely at all times. Proper water safety and personal judgment are essential.
